
In this snapshot you can see multiple different shapes, like a sphere, cylinder, cube, cone, plane, and taurus. What is so interesting about these shapes is the way that they are processed and rendered. How it processes it is it basically instead of using a bunch of individual planes to build up the faces of an object, it takes one plane and it "wraps" it around to make the shape. So instead of using a whole lot of geometry to get a curved shape, it just wraps the plane around on a curved edge.
